ST35-5 Generic Interface

In this 2-day course, you will learn how to build, edit and administer interfaces to other systems via the generic interface. You will get to know both incoming interfaces and outgoing interfaces, i.e. the connection to external systems. Practical exercises will consolidate your acquired knowledge.

Content/Learning Objectives:
  • You have understood the basics of interface options of USU Service Management
  • You are able to create generic interfaces
  • You will be able to connect external systems via the generic interface
  • You will be able to build synchronous and asynchronous interfaces
Prior knowledge:
  • Basic knowledge of customizing in USU Service Management
  • Basic knowledge of web services (REST) desirable
  • Access to an running USU Service Management system (development system)
  • Please install the "Postman" application before the training and ensure the accessibility of USU Service Management system
