After studying economics, Bernhard Oberschmidt joined USU AG, today a group subsidiary of USU Software AG, in 1996. After assignments in finance and quality management, he took charge of accounting and controlling in 1998. In this position, he also helped oversee the stock market flotation of USU AG in 2000.
Oberschmidt was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2002 as part of the merger between Openshop Holding AG and USU AG to form what is now the USU Group.
Today he is Chief Executive Officer of USU Software AG and is responsible for the Group’s strategy as well as the Finance, Investor Relations and Central Administration divisions.
